PhD: Sustainability of coffee value chains

The Department of Environmental Systems Science at ETH Zürich is offering a PhD position on the ecological “foodprint” of coffee from production to consumption. The research will involve conducting life cycle assessments (LCAs) along differently organised coffee value chains, such as international traders working with individual farmers, direct trade between farmers and roasters, or cooperatives.
